This is a 1975 run model imported by Sunset Models and built by Samhongsa in Korea. The box has minimal shelf wear, and the label was modified to mark it as an O-3, but it's actually an O-1. There are no spare parts. It was recently serviced - the old gearbox grease was cleaned out and replaced, and a new drive tube was installed. The paintwork is great with some touch - ups in a few spots. Brand: Brass Sunset Models. Part Number: HGN100. Condition: C - 7 Excellent. Wheel wear is minimal and the plating looks very good. Motor/gearbox noise is moderate (4 of 10). It runs well with an Open Frame Motor (OFM). There's no backhead/interior detail. The custom paint is very nice with Road No. 3125. It's controlled by analog - DC only and has no lighting. It comes with a Kadee coupler on the tender and a cast coupler on the locomotive, and is packed in the original box with a foam insert. Using this locomotive is easy. Just connect it to an analog DC power source and it's ready to run. When handling it, be gentle as it's a fragile model. For maintenance, keep it clean from dust. You can use a soft brush to clean the exterior. Every once in a while, check the gearbox and drive tube. If you notice any excessive noise or issues with the running, it might be time to clean and lubricate the gearbox like it was done during the recent service. Also, store it in the original box with the foam insert to protect it from damage. If you have any questions about its operation or maintenance, feel free to contact us.
