In 1978, Westside Model Co. imported this set built by Samhongsa in Korea. The original wooden box shows moderate wear, with some damage and scuffing. There are no spare parts, and the boiler weights are installed. This set includes unpainted Santa Fe 2 - 10 - 4, 4 - 6 - 4, and 4 - 8 - 4 locomotives. All engines have been fully serviced. New drive tubes are installed, old grease is cleaned out, and new lubrication is added. It's a really neat set featuring classic steam locomotives. To protect the pilots during transit, these models will be shipped outside the wooden box. Note that there are some solder repairs; check the photos. Brand: Brass Westside Model Co. Using this locomotive set is easy. Just connect it to an analog - DC power source, and it will start running. When handling the locomotives, be gentle as they are fragile. Since the models are unpainted, you can customize them as you like. For maintenance, regularly check the drive tubes and clean out any accumulated dirt. Add new lubrication when the old one gets dirty. When storing, keep them in a dry place to prevent tarnishing. If you notice any solder repairs coming loose or other issues, refer to the photos for reference and contact us if needed. When shipping, know that we pack them well to protect the pilots, but be careful when unpacking. Enjoy your classic steam locomotive set!
