Using this locomotive model is quite straightforward. It operates on an analog DC - only system, so you'll need a compatible power source. Connect it to your track, and it should start running. Since it's sound - ready, you can install a speaker in the tender if you want to add some realistic sounds.
When handling the model, be gentle. It's a fragile item, especially being a brass model. Avoid dropping it or applying too much force, as this could damage the delicate parts like the couplers and figures in the cab.
For maintenance, keep an eye on the gearbox. The old grease has been replaced, but over time, it may need another change. If you notice the motor or gearbox making more noise than usual, it could be a sign that it needs servicing. Also, check the wheels regularly for any signs of excessive wear. Store the model in its original box and foam when not in use to protect it from dust and damage.
