This is a 1959 Pacific Fast Mail model crafted by Toby in Japan. The replacement box shows some shelf wear. It doesn't come with the original packing materials, but the replacement box has a nice foam insert. The custom paint job is really good, though there's some wear, chips, and the decals and clear coat have yellowed a bit. Lenses, coal load, and upgraded steam line and airhose castings have been added. Note that the tender is from the 1962 - 64 run as it has better details than the 1959 locomotive. We couldn't find a serial number on the locomotive. Also, the removable smoke lifters aren't included. Brand: Brass PFM - United. Condition: C - 7 Excellent. Wheel wear is minimal. There's moderate motor/gearbox noise (4 out of 10). It runs well with a solid drive. It has an Open Frame Motor (OFM). The backhead has a flat plate United emblem. It's custom painted (No. 827) with some chips and wear. It's for Analog DC Only and has no lighting. There's a Kadee coupler on the tender and a cast coupler on the pilot. It comes in a replacement box with a foam insert. Free domestic USA shipping for purchases over $199! Shipping rates are based on item value or weight. Using this model is easy. Just connect it to an Analog DC power source and watch it run. The locomotive has a solid drive, so it should move smoothly on your tracks. When handling the model, be gentle as it's a fragile item. The custom paint job is nice, but it has some wear, so avoid rough handling to prevent more chips. Since the tender is from a later run and has better details, take extra care with it. The replacement box and foam insert are there to protect the model during storage and transport. Keep it in the box when not in use. The wheel wear is minimal, but you can clean the wheels occasionally with a soft cloth to maintain good operation. There's moderate motor/gearbox noise, which is normal for this model. If you notice any unusual noises or problems during operation, stop using it and check for loose parts. Remember, the removable smoke lifters aren't included, so don't expect to find them. Also, for international buyers, be aware that you'll be responsible for imports, duties, and tariffs. If you're not happy with your purchase, let us know within 30 days and we'll give you a full refund, but you'll need to pay for return shipping unless the item arrived damaged.
