Using this HO scale brass model train is easy. First, make sure you've set up your train track properly. Connect the power supply to your track, and then place the locomotive on the track. Since it's an analog - DC only control, you can adjust the speed and direction using a compatible DC controller.
When it comes to maintenance, it's a good idea to clean the wheels regularly to keep the train running smoothly. You can use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the wheels gently. Also, every now and then, check the couplers on both the tender and the locomotive pilot to ensure they're working properly. If you notice any signs of wear or if the couplers aren't connecting well, you may need to replace them.
When handling the model, be gentle. Remember, it's a fragile brass item. Avoid dropping it or subjecting it to rough treatment.
In terms of storage, keep it in its original box and foam. This will protect it from dust, scratches, and other potential damage. If you're shipping the model, we've already packed it in a bullet - proof way, but make sure to handle the package with care during transit. And if you have any other questions, feel free to contact us.
