This is a 1989 last - run model imported by Overland Models, Inc. and built by Ajin in Korea. The box has minimal shelf wear. Spare parts are not included. There's a misprint on the box showing H - 106, but we can't find any reference to it in related books. It's a great improvement over the previous J.P. Model run. It features a 6 - axle tender version and a vestibule (All Weather) Cab applied to the locomotive in 1951. With hex head side rod bolts, it has a brutish look with the Elesco feedwater heater. It's a sound - ready model with a sound cam on the front driver axle, and the tender is factory - drilled for a speaker. It has exceptional detail, representing locomotive Nos. 212 & 216. It runs smoothly and quietly with minimal wheel wear. Note there's very minor corrosion near the front coupler area (see photos). Brand: Brass OMI - Overland Models, Inc. Part Number: OMI - 1454. Using this locomotive model is quite simple. Just connect it to an analog DC power source, and it'll start running smoothly. Since it's a sound - ready model, you can easily install a speaker in the pre - drilled tender for added fun. When handling the model, be gentle as it's a delicate brass item. Keep it away from moisture to prevent corrosion, like the minor corrosion near the front coupler area on this model. Regularly check the wheels for any signs of wear, though this one has minimal wheel wear. If you want to clean it, use a soft, dry cloth to avoid scratching the details. Store it in the original box with the foam and inserts to protect it from damage. If you have any issues during use, feel free to contact us for assistance.
