This is a 1978 import from Overland Models, Inc., built by Dong Jin in Korea. The box has moderate shelf wear with two torn bottom corners. It comes without spare parts and boiler weight. The tender trucks were poorly assembled at the factory, causing tracking issues. There are a couple of broken solder joints on the tender - check the photos. Sold as-is.

Using this HO scale brass locomotive is quite straightforward. Connect it to your analog DC power source and watch it run. But keep in mind, the tender trucks don't track well, so you might need to be a bit careful when guiding it on the tracks. When it comes to noise, the motor and gearbox make a moderate amount of noise, which is normal for this model. As for maintenance, since the wheels have almost no wear, you don't need to worry too much about that. However, check the solder joints on the tender regularly, as there are a couple that are broken. If you notice any further issues with the joints, you may want to get them fixed. Also, store the locomotive in its original box and foam when not in use to protect it from damage. And remember, this item is sold as - is, so handle it with care to avoid any additional problems.
