This 1984 Key Imports model was built by Micro Cast Mizuno in Japan. The box has minimal shelf wear and comes with a replacement foam insert. It includes spare parts, window frames, and coal. There's a minor solder repair on the engineer side of the cab with a paint touchup (see photos). It's 1 of 50 imported and has a sound cam on the rear driver. A classic example of top - notch late Japanese manufacturing.

Using this train model is quite straightforward. Since it's an analog DC - only model, you'll need a compatible power source to get it running. Just connect the power, and it should start moving smoothly as it runs well and has very little motor/gearbox noise.
When it comes to handling, be gentle as these models are fragile, especially the brass parts. If you need to move it around, hold it by the sturdier parts to avoid any accidental damage.
For maintenance, check the wheels regularly. As the wheel wear is almost none currently, keeping them clean will help maintain this state. You can use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the wheels and other visible parts to remove any dust.
If you notice any loose parts or issues with the solder repair on the engineer side of the cab, don't try to fix it yourself right away. Instead, contact the seller or a professional model train repair person.
When storing the model, keep it in the original box with the replacement foam insert. This will protect it from scratches and other physical damage. And remember, since it's a rare item, proper care will ensure it stays in great condition for a long time.
