This is an amazing HO scale brass model train scratch - built by Joe G. Collias into a Missouri Pacific 2 - 8 - 0 No. 1034. The model is highly detailed with road - number - specific safety appliances and options. The 'doghouse' tender is a later Korean import of unknown origin and is ready for sound as it has factory - drilled holes for speaker installation. It was recently serviced. Using this HO scale brass model train is quite simple. Just place it on the track and connect it to a suitable power source. Then you can watch it run on your model railway. When it comes to maintenance, it's a good idea to keep it clean. You can use a soft, dry cloth to wipe away dust from time to time. As it was recently serviced, you don't need to worry about the gearbox and drive tube for a while, but keep an eye on the motor noise. If you notice an increase in noise, it might be time for another check - up. Since the model has some wheel wear, try to run it on smooth tracks to avoid further damage. Also, store it in a dry and cool place to prevent further tarnishing of the brass. When handling the model, be gentle, especially around the tender with the Kadee coupler. If you plan to install a speaker in the tender, make sure to use the factory - drilled holes for a proper fit. And always follow the shipping and payment instructions provided to ensure a smooth purchase experience.
