This Oriental Limited model was expertly crafted by Samhongsa in Korea. The box shows only minimal shelf wear. It comes with spare parts and decals for all three units. The set is factory - painted in Northern Pacific's freight scheme. Note that there's a small paint blemish on the F9 B unit (check the photos). The window glazing isn't installed yet. It's a great representation of the NP Freight units used in the 1950s, running smoothly and quietly.

Using this HO scale brass model train set is a breeze. Simply connect it to an appropriate analog DC power source, and it'll start running smoothly. When operating, keep in mind that there's a moderate motor/gearbox noise, but it won't affect the overall performance. Since there are no couplers, you'll need to find suitable ones if you want to connect it to other train cars.
As for maintenance, regularly check the wheels for any signs of excessive wear. Even though the current wheel wear is minimal, it's a good idea to clean the wheels every now and then to ensure smooth movement. The set comes with spare parts, so if something breaks, you can replace it easily.
Be careful when handling the model, especially because it's made of brass and can be fragile. When storing, use the original box and foam to protect it from damage. Also, take note of the paint blemish on the F9 B unit. Avoid touching it to prevent further damage to the paintwork. If you plan to install the window glazing, do it gently to avoid cracking the glass.
